The team, the challenge, the Wall

"For those who were not aware, we are going to Pakistan from May, 7th to June, 24th.

The team is composed by Seb Ratel, Mémé Maynadier, Pierre Labbre and your not so humble narrator!

The goal is to try to open a new route, alpine style, on the SW face of Latok (7150m)

Here is the impressive face, but with our friends team, the atmosphere should be cool !!"

Report before leaving

“We are leaving tonight by plane from Geneva to Islamabad. The day after, we will be driven by car during 3 days to Skardu.

After having sorted out our last preparation, we will leave by 4x4 to Askole. Finally, after some walking days, we will reach our base camp on the shores of the Biafo glacier at around 4300 m high.

We are so impatient to discover this country and its mountains… “
