Everything is well. We are very enthusiastic, landscapes and sunlight are fantastic.

When we arrived yesterday, we flew with Mikaël (Chief of the Russian base) to have a look round.

It will be very difficult to move because we are surrounded by water and ice is very thin.

All around us : see, lakes, rivers, so much water.

Sun is incessantly turning around our heads and the sunlight is yellow. It’s impressive!

We are in the geographic North Pole and we are leaving by feet on the ice floe with our sleighs in order to set up camp."
