HYDROPHOBIC PROCESS
Ten years' work with Cousin Trestec means Millet can now offer a range of highquality ropes featuring the latest technology.

The HYDROPHOBIC Process™ protects the core and sheath by polymerisation. The process activates a physical barrier on each filament, thus blocking water incursion by capillarity and reducing the phenomenon of internal abrasion. Eighteen months of lab and field tests gave clear results: even after abrasion wear, the HYDROPHOBIC Process™ remains effective when other treatments no longer exist. And to extend this benefit even further.

The HYDROPHOBIC Process™ is standard on all Millet ropes*.
MIDDLE MARKING
All of MILLET's dynamic ropes have a MIDDLE MARKING. MIDDLE MARKING = a 15cm-long black mark to show the middle of the rope. This is an ESSENTIAL SAFETY detail to prevent the classic accident caused by being lowered with a rope that's too short.
SPECIAL MILLET FEATURE: our double ropes comprise two half-ropes of equal length, intended for mountain activities (2x50m or 2x60m). Each half-rope is middle-marked, so you can easily do a short abseil (25m-30m) using only one half of your double rope.
ANTI-TWIST
All our dynamic ropes come in an "Anti-twist pack". With this exculive rope folding system, the rope is immediately ready for climbing.
