Designed with highly breathable fabrics and primarily geared to abrasion resistance in extreme and varied conditions, the products in the Gore-Tex® Pro Shell range conform to the requirements of professionals operating in outdoor environments and of adventure enthusiasts. Featuring weft-and-warp Polyamide 6X6 Lycra® for maximised resistance to abrasion and tearing plus exceptional freedom of movement (45% stretch). Lining GORE membrane. -
Renforts : Gore-Tex® Pro Shell Ceramic™ 3L
Ceramic™ particle inclusion technology, allowing area-specific reinforcement, is a major innovation for protective clothing. Lighter and more flexible, garments using this technique are particularly comfortable, while also increasing the stretch of the stressed areas. Ceramic™s have high mechanical strength, low density, high hardness and high resistance to wear. Neutral and amorphous, Ceramic™s are danger-free for humans and their environment. 13 mm tape
The use of a 13 mm wide waterproof tape instead of the usual 20 mm wide tape on the main seams allows us to use less tape and glue and thus achieve extra breathability: we have evaluated this gain to be 7% to 10%.This very difficult operation requires high performance equipment and genuine know-how to ensure a perfect seal on our Gore-Tex® protections. - Stretch Construction
