Gore-Tex® Active Shell : A new generation of Gore-Tex® protection. A genuine innovation. Outstanding breathability data, setting a new high for GORE (RET < 3) while of course guaranteeing water and wind proofing. Ideal for all highpaced, committed activities in the mountains. Gore-Tex® Active Shell Pampero 3L combines a thinner latest-generation Gore-Tex® membrane with a fabric selected for its lightness, to obtain the ultimate 3-layer laminate protection for high-paced, committed activities in the mountains. With GORE® technology, the knit lining is combined directly with the GORE membrane to achieve outstanding breathability and the greatest possible comfort. Long-lasting DWR finish. Ripstop structure for higher resistance to abrasion. -
13 mm tape
The use of a 13 mm wide waterproof tape instead of the usual 20 mm wide tape on the main seams allows us to use less tape and glue and thus achieve extra breathability: we have evaluated this gain to be 7% to 10%.This very difficult operation requires high performance equipment and genuine know-how to ensure a perfect seal on our Gore-Tex® protections.
