Interview
What are your 3 most beautiful climbing routes you achieved?
The most memorable of all my achievements is undoubtedly Biographie 8c+ at French Ceuse, on which I had to spent much time struggling at the top sequence. I also remember Austrian Erfolg 9a as one of the purest lines that I’ve tried. Frankenjura’s classic Powerplay appeared to be much harder than I expected, such routes stay in one’s memory for a long time.
Who do you enjoy climbing with?
I enjoy to go out with my friends, and meet new people fascinated by beautiful climbs.
The best memory you have about climbing?
The experience of fulfillment after achieving something at my limit.
And the worst?
Dangerous aspects of climbing and recent accident.
What do you like to do when you’re back home after climbing?
Relax with friends and recall the best moments of the trip.
What’s your involvement with the Millet design center?
I’m the member of the Millet team ready to share my 12 years experience on the field of sport climbing.
How do you feel climbing will evolve in the next years?
It’s turning to be more popular and professional. I’m afraid it will start to lose its ambience and ethos.
