After finishing an impressive fifth in the first stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup in Kirov, Russia, Chloé won round two in Val Daone, Italy, to grab top spot in the overall rankings.
A week after the first round of the Ice Climbing World Cup in Kirov, Russia, where Chloé placed fifth, the Millet technical adviser beat the field in Italy. After winning her semi-final with the fastest time – she mastered the route in 6 minutes 40 - Chloé won the final to top the overall rankings.
"The route in the final was long and tough. I raced through the first part, which gave me plenty of time to rest and finish comfortably within the time limit. I’m really happy!"
Joining Chloé on the podium was her friend, Frenchwoman Stéphanie Moreau, who moves up to second in the rankings ahead of Czech Lucie Hrozova. The next stage is in Saas Fee, Switzerland.
All the Millet team extend their congratulations to Chloé, and wish her continued progress along the route to success…
